VCS Architects - Firm Overview

VCS Architects, LLC was founded in December of 2012. The three founding partners had spent many years prior at an Educational firm, where each member was a project manager responsible for School Projects from programming through the 1st year warranty completion walk. Project budgets ranged from just under $1 million up to $110 million in construction value. While our core design work is Educational, we have expertise in providing design services to Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare Interior Offices and Residential projects as well.

Today partners, Derrick Vaughn and Andre Chachere manage the firm of VCS Architects, LLC. Over their nine year tenure, VCS Architects has successfully completed projects in several greater Houston area school districts. Three out of the four school districts have asked VCS Architects to do repeat business as well as most of their commercial clients.

They are passionate about helping clients solve their architectural design and construction requirements. Derrick Vaughn is one of the three co-founders of VCS and boasts twenty years of education expertise in Texas. A graduate of Southern University, he has worked for such notable architectural firms as SHW Group, ESPA Corporation, and IDG Architects.
